Keep in mind Fedora and Strong were on Urban's staff at the same time at Florida.

So, do you want the offensive chief or the defensive chief from those teams?

What do you like so much about Fedora? Just curious! His defense isn't very good it seems.

It isnt great but he finished 26th nationally last year at southern miss, but 66th this year at unc. Ill admithis D is not great but he can hire the right staff. I been followin him since his ok state days. I was a season ticket holder at usm while he was there. Just love his passion, intensity, and style. I believe its what we need

True. But by a total of what like 8 points? I totally understand your view though. Fedora is a great recruiter himself. Look at unc's class this year. Wellahead of UL and UT.

I have been one of those complaining about Vol fans jumping the gun and bashing Hart but after seeing the Arkansas and Auburn hires I starting to lose faith. Larry Fedora really? If we hire this guy as the HC Vol fans will rip the hire to shreds and UNC fans will be burning mattresses. Fedora promised UNC that he would bring stability to their program that has been rocked by coaching changes and NCAA sanctions but now he's considering jumping ship after one season. Sound familiar? How can we hate Kiffin for doing it but welcome Fedora with open arms? This would be a horrible hire all the way around. I would much rather have Charlie Strong if we can get him.

Not to mention Georgia Tech lost to MTSU but scored 68 points against Fedora's defense and it wasn't an overtime game. Georgia Tech scored 30 points in the 3rd quarter alone. Guz Malzahn's team beat MTSU 42-0 and before anyone says it was Fedora's first year it was also Malzahn's first year.

Someone give me reasons why larry Fedora would be a great coach at Ut and contend for championships. I dont see it, but maybe Im wrong. Someone convince me!!

I have argued this so many times. So all i'll say is ACC>Big east. UNC give up 25ppg this year louisville give up 24ppg.

Fedora has a legitimate reason to jump ship after one year.

Malzahn is leaving arky state after one year

Fedora-boring, Strong-boring, Gundy-better...none of these are worthy of the job, IMO. That probably means we will end up with a lesser version of all of these.

I don't think UNC admin wouldn't release a statement today if Fedora were leaving - particularly because UT is unlikely to make an announcement today anyway.
