I have argued this so many times. So all i'll say is ACC>Big east. UNC give up 25ppg this year louisville give up 24ppg.
Fedora has a legitimate reason to jump ship after one year.
Malzahn is leaving arky state after one year
Fedora would be Gundy at a discount.
He was his OC for Gundy's heyday to this point at OK ST.
He posting 4 winning seasons and 4 bowls at SM and had one ugly loss this season at UNC to GA Tech. The other three were tossups. Strong blew a 29 point halftime lead to UNC and held on by 4 as a point of comparison this season.
Fedora is recruiting better than Dooley was under much stricter NCAA sanctions than Dooley at a school with stricter admissions.
Fedora doesn't have a recruiting coordinator with Miami/Shapiro ties like Strong.
Fedora has recruited to Stillwater and Hattiesburg. Strong's claim to fame is recruiting to Gainesville.
I don't care if I am the only person on here who thinks it, but Fedora>Strong.
Arkansas State new Malzahn was just buying time when they hired him. He took a $550,000 pay cut when he went there and they knew he wouldn't coach for that more then a season or two. Mahzhan leaving there after one year isn't the same as Fedora leaving UNC. What is Fedora's legitimate reason for jumping ship? Look I don't know who is best out of the two but given the circumstances I would be more comfortable hiring Strong. Reality is all the big ships have sailed imo.

I live outside Charlotte and travel up near Raleigh / Chapel Hill often. They are up in arms about LF leaving. He is a very good coach.
Heard this today on the radio today here in Charlotte. Posted in cliff notes but figured I would post here also.

David Glen, syndicated radio broadcaster here in NC confirms Fedora to meet with UT tonight in NYC
This was from his radio show today.
Things are startin to heat up with fedora.I understand that UT's giving Fedora a look, but he's not leaving after 1 season at UNC. Why play second fiddle to the rest of the SEC when he could dominate his division and get to the conference championship EVERY YEAR (would have been in it YEAR ONE if not for NCAA sanctions).
We all know he's laying the groundwork for bigger and better things, but he'll have a clearer path to do so at UNC.
