One positive is that I stopped allowing football games to dictate my mood during the weekend. The Dooley years took a lot out of me. 8-4 is worst case scenario in year 5. Not bad enough to fire but not good enough to show progress

I am hugely pessimistic about this season. I think 6-6. I hope it's 8-4 or better.

I don't think 6-6 is the most likely scenario, but it's definitely on the table. In Dobbs, we've lost the only player who made Jones' offense viable, and from everything I've seen so far, are replacing him with a QB with a fraction of the mobility. Hopefully this will finally be the year where things come together on the o-line and our defense improves so we can exceed expectations this year.
 
I want to be positive about the season, but I think 7-5 is about where its gonna end up.

BJ just hasn't given me the confidence to expect better. Now, I do like the staff changes he made. But until I see the results in the W column, it is what it is.
