Not a false narrative. I said and believe what I said. There are plenty that thought there would be zero drop off, they even said it. They won’t admit it now, but they did. Don’t believe me? Ask around.

I think CTV is just getting some experience for these pitchers. He is a great coach and we are going to have to depend on these guys in the future. Get them out there and let them go through the process...I am all for it. Plus it pisses off the Hogs Fans.

Many of the ones moaning, myself included, wouldn’t have expected 25-5 with everyone returning let alone losing everyone. Last year just doesn’t happen but once every decade or so in this league. Baseball schools like Vandy, LSU and Scar have 1-2 conference seasons like last year, period. Nobody expected to be fighting for our postseason lives 35 games in, no matter how much of a drop-off they expected. Anyone who called this preseason was just being a contrarian and didn’t believe it themselves.

This team has half an SEC schedule left. So, it's not over, but we are trending down.

Lots and lots of issues, but it starts with leadership. I have not seen a leader all year. Something is amiss in the locker room. I guarantee it. I see very little fight.
Time for a players only meeting in my opinion. Find out who is going to go to war with ya for the next 20 games and who needs to be moving on.

Getting swept is not what we needed this week, especially with who we have coming up. At this point we are going to be fighting to make a regional. We have to win some series's coming up if we want to see the post season (which will not be easy).
