Who recruited the key players currently on this roster and have they shown any type of basketball IQ in their time here in Pearl's tenure or currently?
Got him in your sig but don't support him. Good to see there aren't any conflicting elements in your statement...
Well, Pearl recruited a lot and Martin recruited the freshmen. Maybe it's the players that are clueless, but Martin is doing no better with them than Pearl did. However, with Pearl, most of them sat the bench and obviously for a good reason.
Still, you think it's ok to lose to a 1-9 Austin Peay team at home and have to hit 3 bombs just to make the score look respectable against another mid-major?
The sig is mainly for Bray.
Point is we blow hard this year. Did i expect to compete with UK and Vandy? Hell no. But CCM has gotten outcoached by oakland, AP, and now CoC.
People need to quit making excuses for this team. Are we talented? No. But do we have the talent to beat these three teams? absolutely.
Whatever it costs for me to attend each semester.
i dont see why people are blaming recruiting hall, woolridge, golden and mcrae were all 4 star top 100 players idk why this teams so horrible

Dooley was left a much bigger pile of $h!t than CCM, and isn't losing to mid-major schools either. Atleast Dooley was competitive with his $hitty team.
Woolridge was a 4 star because of his last name and his physical build. Hall was 6'9 in high school and had some game but has confidence issues. Golden was recruited out of position by Pearl. McCrae is solid and will only get better as he gets stronger and learns to let the game come to him. Everyone has recruiting misses, Pearl just seemed to have more than most. He preached hard work and effort but recruited style over substance. That rarely ever works.
Here are the rankings coming out of high school for starters:
Josh McRae - position no. 9, overall 47
Trae Golden - position no. 13, overall 63
Jeronne Maymon - overall 47
Kenny Hall - 74 overall
Cameron Tatum - 104 overall
It's bs that this team does not have talent..given Tobias Harris overall no 7 pretty impressive that UT recruited this group.
No doubt. Throw in the fact they think you can have a token running game and be successful in this league. It's just pathetic on all levels right now.Arguing that one pile of $hit is bigger than the other pile of $hit is funny. Let's just acknowledge both were left big piles and move on. And BTW, both Oakland and CoC basketball>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kentucky football.
And I'd bet that you don't have a damn clue what you're talking about... I'd bet that you've never played a meaningful down of football in your life, and wouldn't know a good team if it practiced in your backyard every day
How much you want to put on it? His team quit on him, don't respect him. It's not happening. Keep the blind faith though, whatever helps you get through the day.
So, now all of a sudden it's Pearl's fault who isn't on the sideline or is it Martin's fault who is on the sideline?
At least one of those last few teams made an Elite 8 and every one made the NCAA tourney. This pathetic team will be lucky to get 4 wins in the SEC.
I never said I thought it was okay and I've not been encouraged with our season thus far.
However, I knew it was going to be rough given all of the loss of scoring and the fact that these remaining guys have not played according to their high school rankings. But, Martin deserves time and while he gets less than football because it's much easier to turn a basketball team around, he still needs a little bit...
