Why can’t TV get a high level catcher.

He got the transfer last year then he went pro. Seems like there was another one who did the same thing.

It’s mind boggling to me the struggles we’ve had recruiting that position or the development of them. Whatever it is. It sort of reminds me of Fulmer and RB’s keeping them out if they couldn’t pass block despite their running ability. Is Miller’s defense so bad that it’s not worth his bat? None of the defense I’ve seen behind the plate has been stellar and the offense is severely lacking minus Dickey.

Last offseason was the catcher from Austin Peay. Then he decided to sign a free agent minor league deal.

It’s been more of an adjustment for both of them than I thought it would be. Ahuna has been mostly fine though, he just needs to cut down his strikeouts. He just needs to make contact. He swings and misses too much.

I think Burke issue is he don’t have any protection around him. Last year as a freshman he hit a Hr 1 at every 6 at bats I think. This year he not seeing the same type pitches due to other guys around him.
