Barnes offense morphs into Vitello defense. Good pitching cannot overcome retarded base running and defense. Appears that LSU is sweeping.

VOLS baseball has lost all of the swagger that made them so much fun to watch last year. I have seen way too many batters watch a strike go by right down the middle on the first pitch.
They did that last year. The swag is gone because these kids have never started, and are intimidated by the moment. And the few times they’ve risen to the occasion, they celebrate like they’re “supposed to.”

It’s an objective fact we have the smallest park in the conference and it’s at 700-1000 feet in elevation.
No we don’t. Baum Walker at Arkansas is the exact same 320 down the lines. Miss St is 305 to RF and 325 to LF. The league avg is 325 down the lines; we’re not hitting HR’s because we hit the ball 321ft. Ole Miss has the longest lines and we hit 7 HR’s in 3 games vs them last year.

Think they will do well this year at least a Super Regional but next year will be their year so much coming back position players and pitching dude we lost 8 starters from last year's team damn they are young

Last year taught me that all you gotta do is make it to the postseason, then be healthy and hot at the right time. Not worried, but I was hopeful we'd keep up last year's regular season success with the returning pitching.
