Even Burke is cold against SEC pitching. None of them have hit that well, especially away from home where a routine fly is a home run.
Stop with this tired diatribe. Dickey absolutely smoked 2 balls against AM on Saturday and they died in the wind and stayed well within the park. Meanwhile we’ve hit 3 bombs tonight away from home. Warm weather and favorable winds help everyone. The opposite hinders everyone.

It’s mind boggling to me the struggles we’ve had recruiting that position or the development of them. Whatever it is. It sort of reminds me of Fulmer and RB’s keeping them out if they couldn’t pass block despite their running ability. Is Miller’s defense so bad that it’s not worth his bat? None of the defense I’ve seen behind the plate has been stellar and the offense is severely lacking minus Dickey.
We have had 3 or 4 catchers fall thru

It’s an objective fact we have the smallest park in the conference and it’s at 700-1000 feet in elevation.

This year's team does not have it. Sorry the truth hurts. A good team but not even close to an Omaha team

Won’t be giving up on this year’s team, but I’ve definitely thought that next year could be better for us based on the number of top 1st and 2nd year players we have. We’ll be losing some great players, but will have a lot of returning starters.

VOLS baseball has lost all of the swagger that made them so much fun to watch last year. I have seen way too many batters watch a strike go by right down the middle on the first pitch.
