Disappointing because the error last night cost us that game and mistakes cost us this game. Nevertheless, ended up bringing the tying run to the plate in the 9th in both games… just couldn’t get it done. (Reminder: this is a road series at #1 LSU.) Frustrating. Missed opportunities. Need to start executing better. But it’s still right there if we can start clicking a little better.

Our guys have been squeezed a lot this season. I’m starting to think that’s playing to our issues. Whether it’s frustration and becoming mental, adding to pitch counts or having to put it dead center of the plate, thigh high to get a call. There’s been a lot of borderline pitches that you’d like to get now and then and they consistently seem to go against us. We’ve seen more 3-2 counts through 26.5 games than we saw all of last year.

LSU honestly aren’t that great. Overhyped for sure.

Not sure about that. I think they have a powerful lineup. Of course, they're beatable. We helped them a lot with bad mistakes. But they are very, very good. I'm encouraged with our guys moving forward.
