How many years in is Steven Jackson?

He broke in the league in 2004.

Guess the Dolphins have told Fish that he could Ditka the whole draft this year to get him a QB.

They can say what they want to about money, but it would be hard for him to turn down 8mill a year in Miami.

(Shane Patton, Missouri Sports Magazine) – As the St. Louis Rams and the Miami Dolphins await word from Jeff Fisher, rumors are surfacing that the former Tennessee Titans coach is waiting to hear if the Indianapolis Colts will fire coach Jim Caldwell.
.

Would make a ton of sense, too.

I'd love for Munch to whip Fisher on a regular basis. :)

Titans agree to terms with Craig Stevens. Four-year deal but I don't know for how much. I'm guessing it's worth between $10-16 million.

Looks like Indy might have taken too long

Fire him at this point or bite the bullet to just wait for another year?

Do you mean Jim Caldwell?

The Criticism is he was short changed because the Colts team is built around Peyton Manning.

In case you missed it, here's a good article on Munchak's first year.

Mike Munchak is game changer, Titans players say | The Tennessean | tennessean.com

Also read in the Tennessean that the Titans will consider drafting an interior OL with the 2nd or 3rd round pick. Doesn't seem like Jake Scott will be resigned after his contract expires this offseason. I have a bad feeling Amano and Harris will be starting again...

New secondary coach in the fold. Brent Maxie coming over from the Cowboys where he held the same position.

Jim Wyatt just said he doesn't think the Titans will franchise anyone, and he doesn't think Finnegan or Griffin will be resigned. Said he thought Babineaux's pricetag has gone up after his performance this season, but that he'll be resigned. Also saying he doubts CB is a priority in the 1st round of the draft even if Finnegan is let go. I agree. McCourty and Verner can start. Tommie Campbell will get more PT in '12, I think. Going to need someone else on the roster, but Mouton (ugh) will be back from his injury. Hope he's not the next best option at CB, but JW says he was having a good camp before popping his achilles. Chris Hawkins played decent in spots late in the season. Maybe Brandon Boykin or someone similar will be available in the 2nd or 3rd roudns of the draft.

Going to be a lot of money available to spend in free agency. JW thinks DE and safety are going to be priorities in free agency.

Seems that way. Is he worth $8 million per? I'm not sure.

He is out best defensive player, so yes, I think he is worth it. We will be hurting on defense next year if we lose our best corner, defensive player, and team captain/leader.

Depends on the money involved for me. Finny has been a good player for the Titans and a home run draft pick considering his draft position. I don't want to see him go, but I don't think the Titans should break the piggy bank for him, either. He's going to demand star CB money and, in my opinion, he doesn't create enough turnovers for that type of contract. He's very good, but so are McCourty and Verner.

I won't be disappointed if he's back with the team. I just don't think they're going to pay him what he wants, or else they would have done it already.

Among the free agents in the secondary the Titans resign, the only one I would think they'll lock up is Jordan Babineaux. Looks like Griff, Hope, and Finny are going to be playing elsewhere.

Maybe the Titans spend money on a DE rather than Cortland Finnegan.

Haven't seen the official release yet, but 104.5 is reporting that Mike Reinfeldt is being promoted to COO of the Titans organization, Ruston Webster is being promoted to General Manager, while Lake Dawson is being promoted to VP of Player Personnel.

Actually pretty big news, it seems. I'd like to see how their actual roles will change, but it would seem that Reinfeldt won't be making the drafting and free agent decisions, though I'm certain he'll still have input.

Still want to hear more, but this is interesting at the very least.

Edit: COO, not CEO

Reinfeldt will be in charge of both sides of the team (Admin & Football). He takes the place of Underwood, and Underwood previously didn't have much input in FA and the draft.

Kuharsky is saying it's a big deal. Complimentary of Webster, saying he thinks that the previous draft had a ton of input by Webster. Said Titans fans will be pleased with his decisions.

Also saying the elevation of Dawson is to keep him with the team.
