I genuinely think you guys are being too dramatic and negative about Levis.

This very well may not work, but we got a consensus top 10 pick in the second round. If he flops, it sucks, but I’m honestly pretty fine with it.

The problem is the tape says nothing that he should be a Top 10 pick. This was a historically subpar QB class. Had we not botched last years draft with AJ trade and Malik pick, the reaction wouldn’t be this bad. This is back to back drafts we have absolutely failed overall on due to day 2 moronic picks.

There is literally nothing about Levis that screams top 10 pick/player in this draft. Anyone who has watched the last two years know that. Add in we are a franchise who notoriously fails at QB drafting, this is just comedy.

They never really had East TN tbh, it is still one of their main fan based problems. Its been 23 years and people are still doing mental gymnastics to not support the home state pro team.

Levis pick was boneheaded. Should’ve gone after a WR. There was plenty to be had, Tillman and Hyatt were both still available although maybe a little high at that point but still would’ve loved one of them over Levis. Then next year go after a QB that would be walking into a talented offense.

First pick was fine, they need Oline help desperately, then they should’ve gone after WRs, maybe even take two with the next two picks, but at least one. With no 4th round pick the draft is basically over for the titans.

When we first traded up, i for sure thought we were grabbing Mayer or a receiver. That would have basically made our draft an A+ grade. Now we are basically repeating last year’s draft where we knock the first round pick out of the park and ruin the rest.

If they tank this franchise into the absolute gutter. The first season with the new stadium will likely look like a massive success…. It’s simple, we are going to tank for 2-3 years until new stadium season.

This roster is awful, buddy. Especially when you consider Henry is probably getting traded.

They’re rebuilding whether they want to or not. The fact they were so close to the playoffs last year just shows Vrabel is a miracle worker.

Oh after yesterday i agree they decided to tank and rebuild vs retooling with 3 picks that would have us closer back to competing for the division…

I don’t mind picking Levis in the second round. I don’t even really mind trading up to do it.

I don’t think he’s very good - but the 2021 offense he ran at Kentucky under Liam Coen is apparently very similar to the offense the Titans run. I can buy thinking he was the best fit.

Drafting a RB with no ACL is insane, though, especially with so many other needs.

Need to watch the rest of the draft to see what happens, but think it’s pretty clear the scouting department is in flux and there isn’t a clear vision right now.

Not really. There’s been other teams closer for longer. That’s like saying we should support the grizzly’s just because they’re in Tennessee.

It depends on your outlook on being a fan imo. Im not a big basketball guy but insofar as I am a fan, Im a Grizzlies fan because they are the home state NBA team. But thats me, Im a Tennessean and I root for Tennessee teams. Its my hierarchy of which teams in which order that gets more complicated lol

Yeah, fair enough. The "mental gymnastics" was more talking about the "Well, they aren't the TRUE state team, the Vols are and I'll never root for them" arguments I see a lot as if its mutually exclusive. The Vols are most Tennesseans ride or die #1 team, as God intended but you can root for both imo.

Couple that with the fact they don't have a 4th round pick makes it even worse. 5th -7th you're just looking for bodies that can contribute in special teams. For all intents and purposes the draft is over for the Titans.

At best I can give them a C letter grade. Disappointing draft to say the least.

The Titans don't get much business from East Tennessee.

However, they have fans pour down from Kentucky. It is amazing how many come from Fort Campbell and such.

Therefore, Big Blue will come see numb nuts play QB poorly.

UK literally played double digit primetime games because their QB was the second coming of Jesus for the past two seasons.

The only tape we don’t have eyes on are his workouts. But I’ll take the plenty of primetime game action he’s had the last two years over a private workout against air.

Instead we traded up and drafted a QB that was overvalued and no one else wanted, then drafted a RB with no knees and you’re surprised fans are mad?
