One draft doesn't fix a roster, let the vets walk, replace with youth. That's not how this works, you don't improve the roster without improving the product on the field.
This isn't Madden franchise mode...... This isn't a video game with cheats.
So do you think we're going to "build the team" and continue to suck bad enough to have a top 5 pick in 2 years or should we give up draft equity and young talent to move up in the draft and get a QB? Your strategy sucks.Nope.
Use 23 and 24 to build the team around your QB. In the 25 class draft your rookie QB, let the last season in Nissan be his rookie year then you hit the ground running in 27 at the new stadium. Your QB's contract is 2-3 years behind the rest of the team so it allows you to pay the guys around him.
Yes, bring in youth, start letting again Vets walk. Try to have a contender when the new stadium opens. So do you think we're going to "build the team" and continue to suck bad enough to have a top 5 pick in 2 years or should we give up draft equity and young talent to move up in the draft and get a QB? There are 4 tackles in the draft that help make us better immediately. Some of them we could pick up later in the first. I really like the BYU tackle and think he may end up being the best in this draft.
So 3, you like the Bayau tackle. There are 4 tackles in the draft that help make us better immediately. Some of them we could pick up later in the first. I really like the BYU tackle and think he may end up being the best in this draft.
I don't think the PennSt tackle was as impressive as others do.
Alt has great size but he struggled some against straight power, his weight is a little light for the frame at his position. I'd take him though.
Mims from GA is a little heavier but he carries it will on his frame. Footwork not as good as others.
Latham I think ends up inside at Guard.
No, there are 4 minimum. The Oregon St and Houston tackles are legit IMO a well but I wouldn't spend a 1st on either. It's BYU, can't remember name, Penn St kid. Alt and Mims. Any of those guys in the first. The other two would be 2nd round options. So 3, you like the Bayau tackle.
I think either the Penn St or ND tackle are the move. Unless which was my hope you moved into that 3 or 4 range and could possible steal Harrison.
We've been there before. Problem is even those pics aren't sure things. It has nothing to do with that. It's continuing to win meaningless games missing the playoffs and being stuck in the mid teir range. I'd like for once the Titans to be at the top of the draft and to truly get one of the best prospects available.
You don't have to be picking in the top 10 to get the best players though. Dallas got Parsons at 12 and CeeDee at 17.It has nothing to do with that. It's continuing to win meaningless games missing the playoffs and being stuck in the mid teir range. I'd like for once the Titans to be at the top of the draft and to truly get one of the best prospects available.
I am not aware of any draft pick which is an absolute, sure-fire, cannot possibly miss choice. I am aware that tanking for a high potential, critical player (like QB) may be a strategy with some viability. Uncertainty, hope, looking for the possibilities is one of the things that supposed to make sports fun. Some people find ways to remove the fun from those things.y
yep, no team drafting 9th has every recovered
85 million was the last number I've sent reported. Most expected it to be 100 but the league salary cap didn't go up as high as expected.I don't follow the Titans very closely so excuse the question. Won't they have a pretty massive amount of salary cap space available next year? If that's the case and they still end up with a top 10 draft pick the rebuild should be rather quick.
