The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

I’ll disagree. Culture of winning & effort > everything.
Better to tank for BPA in the draft. It might also keep the Steelers and their meathead coach out of the playoffs. With that being said, I think meathead and the thumbtacks will win this.

The difference between 5-12 and 6-11 is one draft spot this year (7 vs 8), as there’s only 1 other team with a potential 6-win finish (the Jets, if they lose to the 2-win Pats would stay at 6-wins…there’s a good chance they win and the Titans are unable to move further down than 7).

Unless you’re certain that the 5-win Chargers are beating the 10-6 Chiefs (who need the win to guarantee a home game) and/or the 5-win Giants are beating the 11-5 Eagles (who are potentially playing for their division and a 2-seed if Dallas loses) and/or the 4-win Cardinals are beating the 8-8 Seahawks (who are also playing for their wild card lives), the Titans are pretty much in a “same pick regardless” situation.

What is it with Tennessee teams and committing penalties this year?

(Vols were 122nd out of 130 FBS teams, and the Titans are 25th out of 32 teams)

That awful Miami win really screwed a lot of things up.

So who’s worse: the offensive line or the defensive backs?

It’s almost more like a tie: the former being any degree of bad is much more detrimental, but the latter seems (compared to other teams) drastically worse.

Also, maybe KC does win, but Patrick isn't playing today, so that gives LA a good shot.

Going to miss Henry. still has some years left. Hopefully he goes to a contender and gets a ring.

If people want to talk draft pick position:

- Giants haven’t started to play the Eagles yet
- Chargers haven’t started to play the Chiefs yet
- Cardinals haven’t started to play the Seahawks yet
- Jets are up 6-3 on New England (meaning currently the furthest a TEN win would drop the Titans is their current spot of 7).

Nah Oline is trash. DBs are serviceable when healthy.

…how much have you seen the Chargers play this season. It’s going to take more than Mahomes being out to give them a “good shot.”

(Unless “good shot” might mean going from squat to squat and a half chances?)
