I expect we go for a terrible head coach who “can work with QB’s.” In other words, someone whose only other option is QB coach.

Vrabel going somewhere else and winning a Super Bowl would be the most Titans thing ever. I wasn’t happy with this season but I thought he deserved a chance to fix the problems. We better have a home run hire lined up or this will go down as a very dumb decision on their part.

There is no home run hire. It will be retread, coordinator, or both.

Who clamming he is a HOFer? He’s a good coach who is going to be snatched up quickly by another team. The issues of the last two seasons are not his but the front office’s who poorly mishandled the roster.

As a bandwagon/non-bandwagon Titans fan (for the benefit of some judgmentialists on here), a strong first step toward achieving excellence occurred today. This team needs a major reboot with a move into a current offensive scheme fitting for the new stadium and the fanbase. This should be an exciting time in Titans franchise history. The 49ers org is a really good model, so let's see what Ran and ownership can pull off with all the cap space and good draft position. There are no secrets where the problems are. Put everything on the table and build it for the future.

Heupel? Really? This isn’t even good trolling.

You’d have to be an idiot to leave UT for the Titans. You’d be hated by half your own fans from day one. Not to mention he’d have to take a pay cut anyway.

The guy did have faults, especially with promoting from with in, but I think this job looks incredibly unappealing.
