The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Harbaugh is not coming to this dumpster fire. He will go to a team he can turn around quickly. Titans have way too many issues.
100 mil in cap space, rookie QB, and a GM he knows well. Amy is easier to get along with than the Oakland owners, Washington, Atlanta, and Carolina are a mess. We might not get him, but it's not because we are a dumpster fire. We honestly are positioned the best.

If they had kept Vrabel you'd probably be telling us how this just can't because they're not aligned.

If they had fired RC you'd be telling us how "it would seem the will go with a Vrabel yes man over anyone who has GM experience and/or a strong personality"

If they had fired RC and said it wasn't a good fit, I would've been fine with it. You stick to doing you instead of shoveling posts into my fingers.

Your speculation actually supports my point about Amy, btw (which was the point that you blew by). No vision or culture to build upon. Allow GM to go rogue, fire GM during season, hire rookie GM who isn't (apparently) aligned with the HC as you noted, decide future is more about the rookie GM than the past leadership, fire HC (did they even consider extracting value instead?). She and the team are a trainwreck.

I think what Vrabel did in his first few years was incredible. He got them to the playoff with duct tape and baling wire. Since then the front office has done squat to help him improve the team.

The tax payers are building a new stadium for the Titans and it really appears the ownership gives not single 💩 about winning.
Nothing about Amy tells me she doesn't want to win. She's actually very quick to dismiss people for not getting results.

Would be the most shocking thing ever. Michigan might pay him more than Saban to stay.

The Jags fell on their face, but have a decent team. Texans are actually shaping up to be pretty damn good. Not sure what to think of Indy.
Lawrence isn't what everyone thought and Indy isn't doing anything with AR. Houston is pretty good, but let's not pretend they are world beaters.

Houston is “pretty good” after one year with a new staff coming off a terrible season with a weak roster. They’re set up very well.

I want Slowik
