I saw that last night, it surprised me a little. But in the same breath I've been watching some stuff on YouTube, it's pretty bad how basic the Eagles offense actually is.

That explains why he didn't get a job last cycle. I know he got several interviews. That to me seemed like more than just satisfying the Rooney rule.

Every Patriots fan I had talked to before this season seemed to think Mayo was certain to take over. I didn't know if that had changed since the franchise's decline.
