The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

I dont know how anyone can watch these playoff games, and think Vrabel had us anywhere close.

Close to what? Steelers are trash and made the playoffs. The AFC looks to be weaker than NFC so that gives the next coach some hope I guess. Should be eaiser to make playoffs.

The offensive firepower of these teams.
We know what KC/Mia can do
Houston has a stud QB
LA/Det are Elite on offense
GB has a good young QB
Dallas was the #1 offense in the league
We all know what Buffalo can do
Baltimore is on another level

And then theres us

Idk if y'all watched the Eagles last night, but it's obvious KB's career is about over and trading him was smart. Probably should have traded some more of these guys.

I agree. Too much wear on his tires it appears. Which is what happens when you play Vrabel's style. Add in the roster management issues of the GM/FO that makes the starters play too many snaps. The D has to play lights out every game to win with that system and the lack of talented depth at some key positions uses them up.

The AFC is far far stronger than the NFC right now. The NFC's top team, the 49ers, were sub .500 vs the AFC this year. Look at the QBs. Jalen Hurts is one of the best in the NFC and he'd struggle to be the top half of the AFC

Yea he looked slow and out of position a lot but Eagles entire secondary looked awful. Good trade though.

Would you be happy if the Tennessee Titan hired Nick Saban?

Nope. His stint with the Dolphins was not that impressive. Plus, like Belichick, dude is just old. I think both of those guys need to go to the house and learn to garden or something. They have literally nothing left to prove.

Glenn isn't exactly the best defensive coach I've ever seen, but his players LOVE him and he can really set a solid culture. I wouldn't love him calling your defense, he would need to hire excellent coordinators.

Slowik is my top choice. Not only a promising up and comer, but we could also hit two birds with one stone by taking him from the Texans.

But I wouldn’t hate a Callahan hire. If that happens I hope he brings in his dad to coach the O-line.

Agree. Interesting that Callahan supposedly finished runner-up to Lafleur when we hired him as OC.
