The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Hopkins will end up bring an important player for KC on their playoff run.
He's a piece at a position of need. sure he'll help some. As far as fit goes he's not ideal for their system.

Cupp is ideal for what they do. But the other details were bad for the Chiefs so it wasn't feasible. The next best thing in a limited market of availability was Hopkins.

The GM is fine, the owner isn't picking players. Under this owner the team was competing at the highest levels.

This is just a silly take
The owner picks the GM, and the Titans' GM sucks. This is an organization on the way toward the basement.

What has the GM done that has sucked in your opinion?

He's improved the o line, the defense has improved immensely. With the pieces he was left he's improved the roster...... What else can you expect him to do in one off season?

Sporadically, the Titans/Oilers have never consistently competed at the highest levels.

That Calvin Ridley acquisition was horrible.

Personality conflicts, having a prick for a HC is entirely different than making smart personnel decisions. Players understand business decisions.

Derrick Henry earned the right to say whether or not he wanted to be traded. We literally see this happen all the time. And it's not regulated to only football.

Of course he earned the right to state his opinion on being traded but unless it was in his contract he didn’t have the right to dictate his trade status, he’s an employee.

So it’s pretty much a 5th (one of the two conditions for it to be a 4th require the Chiefs to play in the Super Bowl…making the potential 4th rounder one of the last 2 picks in that round).

Welcome to the Super Bowl, D-Hop. Welcome to the playoffs, E-Jones.

It is clear the direction now. Stacking picks I like. I am fully in the play Levis camp now.
