Well, I could see the punishment befitting the crime here. If those in violation were not the ones who tested positive which ultimately resulted in a cancellation of game(s), then I don't see how they can force a forfeit. Again, assuming those that did test positive were within the rules.

It's a bad look for TN, but the league needs to consider what they do in response very carefully. This isn't over for them regardless of rule following or not. The NFL should have developed a better plan for this than what it appears they have (we will just figure it out and hope it doesn't get too bad ain't gonna work).

Honestly, I hope they reach a decision quickly. I'd like to know what the Titans are giving up sooner rather than later. I don't want this to drag out like with the Patriots.

At this point who cares, the Titans have basically blown their season up anyway. They get what they deserve, they probably should have to forfeit those games. About as stupid as you can get when you know some of the people you're around may have been exposed.

I don’t think the season is over with two forfeits. I do think it’s over if the players who attended the practice get long suspensions. I don’t think losing draft picks is fair, but who knows what they’ll do.

I fully expect there to be suspension and forfeiture of games, we will see though.

The problem with forfeits is that's fewer games than the NFL has agreed to with the TV networks in the broadcast agreements. The networks will want an adjustment to their payout to the league this year if there are games not played. One way to fix that would be for the Titans franchise to write a check back to the NFL for whatever reduction there is in TV money.

Fines for franchises and players are jokes especially for violations of this magnitude. Suspensions and loss of draft picks will be the only way to get any effect to ensure no other team or players do anything similar. And the Raiders and Gruden say thanks, this makes their charity dinner look like nothing now.

Apparently this team is full of idiots who don't believe rules apply to them. They deserve whatever punishment they get which I fully expect to be huge fines and at least 1 forfeit.

Goodell will make example of Titans. I predict forfeit of Buffalo game. All players involved in workout suspended 2 games. Players on video without mask fined $50K. Also lose 2021 2nd or 3rd round draft pick.

The memo prohibiting what the Titans did came out the day AFTER they did it. They still should have known better though

Another NFL.com columnist confirmed what Khuharsky said about game forfeitures not really being on the table due to the timing of when that potential penalty was agreed upon by the NFL (ie, they would have to retroactively apply it, which would open up a whole mess of a can of worms).

They’re likely looking at some combination of suspensions, fines, and loss of draft picks.

They may be able to reschedule this weekend's game but after that I see no other alternatives but to forfeit those games moving forward. There simply isn't much else built into the season to accommodate the Titans stupidity.

If there are suspensions I'm pretty sure that will be an automatic three to four losses considering who was in attendance per reports.

The loss of draft pics would be a serious blow as well.

It is obvious to me the Titans were not following proper protocols, you don't get this level of fail when others have contained it quickly.

Moving this game to Monday or Tuesday is likely out of the question as the Bills have a Thursday night game this upcoming weekend. (I guess there might be some chance that game could perhaps be theoretically moved as well into the weekend, but I also don't know how the NFL's Thursday Night game situation works.)

Yeah but Gilmore was running around the field and hugging guys afterwards presumably having an infection he got from the NE source. That’s not containing it quickly to me.

We will see in the coming days who has managed this well, it's obvious to this point the Titans have not.
