The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Can they not just test all the other players and staff today and quarantine the positives? If they are negative they are good to go?

“Negative test” and “not contagious” aren’t the same thing, which I suspect the Patriots and Chiefs are about to find out

On one hand, I’m glad we aren’t playing a game with no practice and another game in a short week. But we just used our bye in week 4.

There have been plenty of Week 4 byes over the years, not ideal but the 49ers just went to the SB with one

To elaborate on this (quoting my own post but idc), an infected person can start spreading the virus 2-3 days before they experience symptoms or test positive. So the general opinion around the NFL of "test negative and you're good" is a little reckless, because some of those negatives are spreading the virus. These recent positive tests for the Titans were testing negative too the day prior, and may have been spreading the virus to the rest of the team if facilities weren't closed.

And having Cam Newton around your team on Friday, then traveling and playing a game on Monday and just assuming that everyone else is fine because they haven't yet tested positive is...questionable at best

whatever gets the games played is just fine with me.

I’m going up against Allen and Diggs in a fantasy game in which I could really use a win, so it would be great if our secondary could turn things around.

It wouldn’t seem to be a great look by the NFL to punish the Titans for not being careful enough about the virus when the NFL itself just let the Patriots play with positives. Not that that would stop them, of course

I do blame the NFL here a bit. They had the most time to prepare for this and as far as I can tell, their preparation came down to:

a) fining coaches for not wearing masks
b) trying to squeeze games into each teams one bye week

Also, it’s so irritating when I try to search Twitter for stuff about the Titans and all this anime ******** comes up

Steelers are now crying. Their vajayjays are so hurt the might sit out the rest of the season. That might be the best thing 2020 did for the world

I wanna know if any of the players that tested positive last week are starting to test negative now. That could be a saving grace.

I hate all this absolute bs so much.

Suspensions could be worse than forfeits, depending on how long they are (definitely some important guys at that practice).

In this case, we are the mid-tier G5 program that gets hammered while the UNCs of the world skate by
