They had to take a shot (four second differential between shot clock and game clock); taking a very deep three had less a chance of putting more points on the board against UT than simply running by Golden once more and getting an easy two.

I was joking but if you don't miss the time when UT was relevant in basketball I'm not sure what to think. If you like the NIT it's obvious Cuonzo is your man. I'm not calling for his job but this team is not well coached. Next year will be his make it or break it year.
