The Official Tennessee vs. Alabama Game Thread, 3:30pm ET (03/15/13), ESPNU

Very disappointing, but I think realistic fans saw this coming.

Just hope for everyone else to lose know and fingers crossed Sunday.

But even if we make it, I'm not optimistic. It's amazing to me we finished the season how we did after the miserable first half of it. Considering the whole season, we are still too inconsistent to expect to win even one game in the tourney. And the fact that we pretty much suck on a neutral court, and sucked today even though it was arguably not neutral.

Oh, and now Lunardi says were out anyway, disregard above (hopefully not).

My goodness stfu with all this "so sick of this team" bs.

This team won 9 out of 10 games..drubbed Kentucky, beat mizzou and Florida during that stretch. They had one bad game today..get over it.

stfu with all of this "9 out of 10 games drubbed Kentucky, beat mizzou and florida during that stretch" bs. Yes, 9 of 10 was very exciting to see down the stretch, and it shows hope for next season. (just like last season might I add) However, you CAN NOT focus an entire season on those 9 wins. The fact of the matter is that we had to go on a miracle run for the second straight season to beg for a shot at the dance. That doesn't cut it. We need to focus on the full 30+ games, and the results for the entire season instead of 1/3 of the sample.

Bottom line the effort today was meh. i don't think we make the dance. so what we won 8 out of 10 or whatever who cares. i am sick of losing to alabama in everything we do it's inexcusable.

This...

We played lethargic, everything fell for them and nothing fell for us. We didn't deserve to win. Heavy feet from yesterday and they were fresh. I hate losing to bama in EVERYTHING

Your pathetic bias is showing.

Don't blame coaching. It's not Zo's fault this team can't hit the broad side of a barn. Bruuuuuuce is the one that got these players in here. Zo has done a lot with the steamy pile he inherited.

It's amazing how quickly people forget that. One bad outing today and suddenly it's like we're 11-10 again. "Sick of this team," "Cuonzo needs to motivate better," "We can't win big games," and so on forever and ever.

You didn't hear any of that **** over the past month.

Some people are just fickle as hell.

Oh okay. I guess I'm supposed to sit here and gripe and moan because they had one bad game.

Preach it brother!

This hits the nail on the head. CCM is not a great X's and O's coach. Not a great motivator either. Very disappointing the way we played today No one stepped up. 7-14 from the line is ridiculous once again!

Was he a ****ty motivator for the Florida and Kentucky games, too? What about the Missouri game? Were we motivated for that one?

Alabama was trying to win too, you know. Just because they outplayed us doesn't mean we didn't want to win or weren't motivated.
