Don't blame coaching. It's not Zo's fault this team can't hit the broad side of a barn. Bruuuuuuce is the one that got these clowns in here. Zo has did a lot with the steamy pile he inherited.

Without Maymon, this team had no business even being in the discussion for an at-large. Martin has certainly made his fair share of mistakes, but he still deserves a lot of credit for keeping his team together when it looked like this season at one point could've been a Wade Houston-style disaster.

Oh okay. I guess I'm supposed to sit here and gripe and moan because they had one bad game.

If it were just one bad game, UT would be in the dance for sure. But when you add up the other 12, its an issue. Im just trying to be realistic and not put too much emphasis on 9 games out of 30+.

Typical Vol basketball...worthless playing and coaching. Would have gotten embarrassed in the tourney anyways.

If you have watched the past 10 games and can't be just a tiny bit proud of the way our guys have come around and played as a team I have 4 words for you. CHEER FOR SOMEONE ELSE!

he got outcoached period.he knows nothing but man D and they ran the same play all game long and he went zone and got a couple of stops and went right back to man.the players are at fault too but martin deserves some blame also.

stfu with all of this "9 out of 10 games drubbed Kentucky, beat mizzou and florida during that stretch" bs. Yes, 9 of 10 was very exciting to see down the stretch, and it shows hope for next season. (just like last season might I add) However, you CAN NOT focus an entire season on those 9 wins. The fact of the matter is that we had to go on a miracle run for the second straight season to beg for a shot at the dance. That doesn't cut it. We need to focus on the full 30+ games, and the results for the entire season instead of 1/3 of the sample.

That's a more fair complaint IMO. I, too, am pissed at the way we played the first 21 games of the season.

But saying Cuonzo can't motivate and "hate this team" and blah blah is stupid because we won big game after big game after big game.

so we lost 14 games this season. Good to know

I think you're trying to add more negative so you can hate more.

Good point.

Forget all about those games and get mad. Kick'em all in the nuts.

I keep thinking back to Maymon's first season when he was "terrible" and didn't deserve any playing time. I admit that I felt that way at one point. It's just interesting to consider with all the "Maymon would have saved us" type posts this year.

It's amazing how quickly people forget that. One bad outing today and suddenly it's like we're 11-10 again. "Sick of this team," "Cuonzo needs to motivate better," "We can't win big games," and so on forever and ever.

You didn't hear any of that **** over the past month.

Some people are just fickle as hell.

Today's team resorted to default Cuonzo mode. That mode went 11-10. That team settled for too many 3s and did not attack a zone. We saw the same thing today with an NCAA bid on the line.

I stand corrected sir.

kick'em in the nutz anyways. Its what you were waiting for as soon as they lost one.

Paint that picture of negativity big enough for everyone to see how mad you are.... you deserve to be heard and the team needs to feel your hate.

Fire CCM
Kick everyone off the team.

What in the world is Lunardi thinking? Virginia, Ole Miss, Middle Tennessee, and Alabama all ahead of us? Sorry, but they don't have the resume that we have.

The reason we are a bubble team and most likely won't be dancing is not what we did today but what we did the first half of the season. We started out slow just like we do in games. It's a trend.

Those 21 games is a larger sample size than the 9 of 10.

I'm still proud of my vols. People on here start talking **** but counzo and the vols did something I didn't think was possible in the middle of January. It just sucks that all the hard work could have been sealed with a victory today. Go vols!
