At this point, all the teams have been through the wringer and will present specific challenges. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to do some advanced scouting this afternoon! Those stat sheets @greasemachine posted earlier are a great place to start.

No doubt. Some are gonna think I’m jumping the gun when I say this, but he’s already the best baseball coach in UT history. No disrespect to Delmonico, he was a very solid coach, but Tony totally “gets it” and we’re blessed to have him.

If we’re going by results, it’s crystal clear imo. We hadn’t been to the CWS since the 50’s before the 90’s with Delmonico and we only went once in the 50’s. Tony’s already been twice in a 3 year span during a 5 year coaching stint, something Delmonico never could do.

that half of the bracket does not have the ptiching depth of Wake and Tennessee. Florida comes the closest. That bracket winner would have trouble in a 3-game take series.

It's just about laughable if it weren't so annoying for the fans in attendance.
Current forecast:

Variable clouds with scattered thunderstorms. Gusty winds and small hail are possible. High 81F. Winds SSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

Me: "Oh lucky, let's bring freakin' hail into the mix"

Thanks for your efforts in advance. I'm just starting to re-engage with this community. So.... seriously, thanks in advance. WHAT we do in advance of this very big game is part of the fun of even getting this far.
