I’ve always wanted to make a trip to Omaha, especially now with our Vols playing in it. I’ve thought about packing up and hitting the road but the new job just won’t allow that. Plus the gf pressuring for a ring and I’d be strangled spending that much money… I think there’s a nice jewelry store in Omaha tho now that I think about it…. Hmmmm
Wrong diamond in Omaha.

Do it, and you'll be free to go to lots of places, any time -- including bed, alone.

Thanks for posting, W.TN.Orange Blood!

A question for anyone who has listened to lots of different college baseball coaches in pressers:

Is Tony different from most? If so, in what ways?
I always learn a lot from listening to him (but that's a bar set low).

Tony is very different. One of the best interviews in sports imo. He is a straight shooter and doesn’t BS. He doesn’t speak in cliches. He always has some funny quips. He has a certain confidence about him but at the same time is very humble and gives credit to everyone else except himself. He is a rare breed.

He can talk your head off because he breaks down every little detail, but damn I love listening to him. He knows his stuff.

He’s also not afraid to call out his players. Go look at his interview after the Boston College loss. He brings out the best in his guys. Best baseball coach in the country.

Much bigger field in Omaha compared to Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Outfield coverage and gap hitting will be a key for us.

Lindsey Nelson Stadium
Left Field:
320 ft
Left-Center Field: 360 ft
Center Field: 390 ft
Right-Center Field: 360 ft
Right Field: 320 ft

Charles Schwab Field
Left Field:
335 ft
Left-Center Field: 375 ft
Center Field: 408 ft
Right-Center Field: 375 ft
Right Field: 335 ft
This is wrong, LNS is 385 left center, 365 right center
