The Official Tennessee vs LSU CWS Game Thread (Tues. 6/20 7PM EST ESPN)

No way on earth the family and folks representing a soon to be #1 pick in the MLB draft will be letting that young man pitch today following an 8 inning masterpiece (albeit with an insane strike zone).

Unbelievable and knowing everyone is going to see that. He wouldn't be playing the next game had he did that to me. 🥺
Saw this hilarious sequence on the Rant last night in regards to this video.

Not true…During the regular season, pitchers cannot throw more than 115 pitches in a game. In post season play, pitchers are not supposed to pitch more than 110 pitches in a game, and if they hit 110, they must sit out 3 days.
You just made this up.

From a member of the NCAA baseball rules committee
“The NCAA has no pitch count rules regarding baseball……..during a game, or involving a previous game or subsequent game. It is entirely up to the judgment of the pitcher/coach/etc.”

Sorry, I thought a member of Volnation had used more than the first thing that came up on Google. Late night and it was early. Still no excuse.

No way we lose to … this… if we beat LSU right?

LSU likely uses their 9 guys an inning or 2 at a time. Likely with Riley Cooper starting.

Vols have got a lot of recent practice against lefties with a lot more control than Riley. They had a great mindset against Quinn Mathews and would have the same mindset against Cooper who is not half as good as Matthews. LSU fans love him because of his perceived toughness, but his inability to show toughness with the temptation of the Golden Corral Chocolate Wonderfall will prevent him from going 6-7 innings.

Love it.
