The Official Tennessee vs. Vandy Gameday Thread

That may be, but what does that say about losing to them???

(bad officiating not considered)

The refs call a game that does not allow us to play our defense.....the gymnasium needs to go back in time to the Great Depression....we miss our free throws at money-time, and still lose a very close one.

Sucks, it does!

I haven't looked yet, but I bet there's at least 5 new negative threads started ib the last few minutes.

Only a school of super-rich kids & alumn like Vandy or Duke would be allowed to create their own court that gives them a clear advantage.

give me a break.

upsets happen. its not a big deal. UT will be number 1 again and will get upset again. Thats just college basketball.

let's stopped with the gassed talk.

we shot horrendously, they shot 2000 fts, we didn't generate tos or dominate in any way.

ticky tack games kill us. tyler wasn't any good and ramar was atrocious.

that's how we lose.

That about sums it up. The officiating was frustrating though.

Shake it off. This will give Peabody another DVD to sell. We've got an SEC Championship to clinch and a trip to San Antonio to chase. Indiana lost in Memorial Gym as a Top 5 team in '86-'87. That year turned out OK for IU.

dykes in the post game discussing vandy's 8 TOs. funny, he didn't mention the 700 fouls precluding any aggressive D.

It doesn't matter. sure it's nice to be #1 for a stretch during the season, but wouldn't you rather be #1 on April 7, the only time it really matters. And by the way you have most certainly NOT lost a #1 seed because of this. The Vols lost to a top 15 team in their own gym. So everyone cheer up and get geared to spank the Mildcats come Sunday.
