Looking at the bottom stats it is pretty equal across the board. It will come down to how which team has a better risp tonight. Who knocks the ducks in with hits- key hits to get those guys home. Tennessee did it with two - two run homers to win sunday. Need those vols to get it done tonight.

Well, mostly bc I think the Vols are a better overall team. But, they’ve seen them twice now (3x lately if you go back to the SEC tourney), and I think the bats will awaken in a big way tomorrow. Also, I can’t stomach the thought of A&M winning a NC in anything, much less a big 3 sport! Honestly, it’s just a gut feeling, and I think y’all are better prepared heading into game 3. I could be wrong of course! This is baseball after all! But I have a good feeling the Vols get it done tomorrow. Especially if they jump on them early.

Also we need 7 Homers to tie the all time Home run record. If we are gonna win by 7 might as well be 7 Dongs.

We need #1-#3 hitters to "show up" and "show out" tonight. I think I heard the stat of something like 4 for 26 in the first two games. Sure would take the pressure off if those three could put on a show.

They need him to go 5 innings to keep them in position to bring in their ACE reliever. Anything less our offensive will have the advantage over their pen (like we saw today). Last week he had a brilliant outing

According to Will Heflin on the 247 podcast, he thought a lot of Lamkin’s success in Omaha was on Florida. Said they wasted or spit on a lot of hittable pitches. I think Florida playing twice in one day also really hurt them.

Lamkin’s ERA is 5.00, and that’s after 8 scoreless inning vs. Florida. He can be had.

Think you nailed exactly why Coach V called for the review: he wanted to short circuit CMo's growing rage. He knew Moore would be mad they dusted him and wanted to do something to keep CMo from saying something or swinging at balls trying to get them back.

It didn't work if that was CTV's intent. CMO walked, and on his way to first, he repeatedly trash talked the pitcher on his way. Easy to read his lips... CMO is on the edge, needs to stay in control and not get tossed. He's too important to this team.
