The big things I’m hoping for are:Do we hope that NC state somehow gets all the way out of the losers bracket but if not a banged up TAM comes out of that side ?
Personally at this point I think I would prefer UNC out of our bracket and NC State out of the other but realistically it will come down to A&M & Kensucky and A&M would provide the path of least resistance. I’m not giving UF a shot here but I could be wrong .
Congratulations.
He must have gotten the AM Radio wrist watch like I did when I turned 13.

Anyone sick of this? That is basically saying a "Ball" thrown by their pitcher (not a strike) was the cause of them losing the game.
OK, FSU, one more time: You should aways play the game so well that one "bad call" does not cost you the game. Never leave the game in the umpires' hands.Yes. And this was not a strike but was closer to being one than that other. The check swing is really a judgment call of whether the umpire believes the batter completed enough of their swing for it to be called a swing.
As for FSU, they need to get over it. That call is NOT why they lost the game. The pitcher had two other chances after that to strike out Burke and didn't. They could have been playing closer to the infield and had a chance at the plate to stop the second run. They didn't. The pitcher could have struck out and caused a pop up or infield easy out on the last hit - that did not happen. Basically, FSU had more plays after that one to end the game or take it to extra innings. They didn't.
They are acting like it was the last play of the game that resulted with Burke walking to first with the bases loaded and the winning run being walked in to score. That was not the case. That call did not prevent FSU from winning the game. Their lack of execution coupled with the excellent execution of the Vols after that is why they lost.
And I debated as to whether to respond. We need to stop feeding the FSU trolls as well.
Agree with all of this. But I love feeding the fsu trolls and watching them cry.Yes. And this was not a strike but was closer to being one than that other. Tennessee's College World Series campaign has now begun with a perfect 2-0 record following victories over Florida State and North Carolina. It's worth noting that 27 of the last 33 national champions also started their College World Series journey with a 2-0 record. What does history say about starting 2-0?
Thank you! I understand there will be another team that’s 2-0 also but I like our chances to be in the finals series for sureTennessee's College World Series campaign has now begun with a perfect 2-0 record following victories over Florida State and North Carolina.
