@Behr radar showing the eye is north of you and still well offshore. Looks like Tampa Bay is actually going to get hammered. I have close friends that live just inshore in both Clearwater and about 50 miles north.
 
It's a weird way to look at it but all those tornadoes earlier are actually a decent sign. Those tornadoes are caused by shear. Strong shear has caused Milton to go from 165 earlier today to 125.

Still going to be destructive with the surge but 110-115 at landfall is far better than 160-165...

I'll be honest, I didn't really trust the predicted Heline impact for Western NC when several weather experts were throwing out those extreme rainfall amounts. One described the event as the mountains ringing out the moisture in the storm like a sponge. Boy, were they right. But I definitely was praying for you (and everyone else impacted) once I saw how bad it actually was.
