Well let’s see UGA Receiver allowed to juggle ball heading out of bounds ruled a catch, facemask called even though no facemask was grabbed, review a play to see if there was a penalty they didn’t call (not legal), a clear fumble by uga called incomplete pass, Nico hit in head at least twice no call, beck false start no call, next play tight end false start no call…

On the facemask he put his hand under the back of the helmet and pulled up, that’s what started the helmet coming off. And yes, even though the penalty is called “face mask” it really means putting your fingers into any opening on the helmet and pulling.

Technically a correct call, but i can’t remember ever seeing it called in a game

Too many men on the field is a reviewable call from the booth. It’s one of the few pentalties that can actually be reviewed

We were trying to game the system, we do it all the time. Watch how slow our guys leave the field, especially if the play clock is getting low. It has worked in our favor numerous times this season, and caused the other team to get a delay of game or take a time out. It’s a gimmick, and this time it burned us.

Had no bearing on the play. If the refs call it on the field that’s fine but don’t buzz down for a replay. It’s not like we had 12 players in formation.

That was one of the most one sided officiated game I’ve ever seen. Literally handed them the game on a silver platter. I really wish our coach and AD would step up and say something for a damn change. Take the fine. You make enough money. It’s just getting old seeing a classless program like Georgia getting handed a game because the SEC is greedy and wants more money.

Stop with the BS excuses. You look lame. Yeah we didn’t get out coached or out played. It’s ALL THE REFS FAULT.

Agree the officiating was complete and utter biased garbage. They are however allowed to review that too many men on the field thing though. Or else 2010 LSU game was just a horrible nightmare

It doesn’t matter, it’s reviewable. We get that call ALL the time, and I promise, if one foot is on the field and the refs didn’t call it, Heupel would challenge it

I’m seriously sick of it. The refs handed UG that game. Sure we could’ve played better, but every time they needed it, the refs pulled something out of their asses. Our coach and AD need to stand up and say something. Take a fine, but make a point. It’s getting old getting bent over with no lube every time it matters.

The officials decided the outcome of this game. Holding by Georgia not called many times. Pass interference by Georgia not called several times. A facemask penalty against us that was not a facemask, dude grabbed the helmet.
I realized when Oxford went to Knoxville several years ago that Tennessee has a problem with the SEC officiating crews. It has not gotten any better at all. Until that is fixed we will continue to languish.

No he wouldn’t. Heupel doesn’t challenge anything haha. And when is the last time we got that call? You say all the time.

I do wonder if the trash throwing incident with ole miss in 2021 soured the conference’s officials towards TN/Heupel. Though it didn’t seem to effect Texas today so who knows

Y’all, I know there was a lot of calls that could’ve gone the other way….bottom line, this team failed to execute on both sides.

Beck had so much time to pick us apart. Gameplan was not good. Jermod, I love you buddy but he was average at best tonight. Our WR’s can’t create separation…offensive line isn’t dominant and Nico didn’t play bad but not scoring in the 2nd half is gonna get you beat.

We had our chances and honestly didn’t play bad. We just didn’t play well enough to win. Kirby has Heupel’s number and until we can hit explosives against Georgia, we won’t beat them.
