The Pembroke Postgame Report: Nothing But Pride Edition.

I absolutely love all the geniuses on here who point at records without actually delving into any circumstantial evidence.

Height (or shall I say "Hat") of ignorance.

But hey, a guy that led a program to its first bowl win in three decades, and went into Tiger Stadium, almost coming out victorious with a team with almost all underclassmen, must really really suck.

the guy he learned all he knows from sucks too, from what I hear.

If only he would give a press conference everyday...

what in the world are you even talking about?

You are just as ignorant for blindly supporting him.

Good one. Having to rationalize a guy's most recent season record is a very good sign.

We've already heard the Sheep Manifesto. We don't care.

By this standard, the coach of ULM that beat Bama in Saban's first year must be the coach of the century and next in line for any prestigious job.

And forget that LSUs QB couldn't have played for our 08 team.

1. Another great, great college basketball game. That's not the result they wanted, but Tennessee did themselves and all of us proud.
2. Wayne Chism's college career is over. That is a very, very sad thing.
3. I've been one of JP Prince's biggest critics. This season would have come apart at the seams without his contributions.
4. Bobby Maze should take great pride in his play during this season. He was a key senior cog in a team that made history.
5. My hat's off to Melvin Goins. His defense in this tournament makes me confident the point guard position is in good hands in '10-'11.
6. I talk ad nauseum about the value of toughness. The two teams on the floor today were perfect examples of that concept.
7. This is now Brian Williams' team to lead. Getting in Scotty Hopson's face for big game cowardice is a step in the right direction.
8. Teams rarely break through the first time they get to the doorstep. This program showed they weren't frozen by the moment.
9. Bruce Pearl, great job. Just please keep the "controlled chaos" silliness in the closet permanently.
10. Anyone who wonders why I was so fervent in my wish to sign Jayvaughn Pinkston, I give you Draymon Green. Burly, powerful guys who can handle the ball and step out on the the floor are gold in the college game.

Nothing to hang heads about in this game, or for this season. That was a great game. You guys will miss Chism and Prince no doubt, but the future of Tennessee basketball is on the rise. Next year should be a good one, and a battle between the blue and orange.

With the end of the season and especially the tourney, Bruce Pearl also turned a page in his book, in my opinion. As Hat said, leave the controlled chaos garbage where it belongs.

Exciting things to come in Knoxville.

Now....

Go Baylor.

Classy post.

I thought this team really established an identity in their half court offense and defensive play this year...

Sad to see this season end, because I knew we were capable of making it to the Final Game, but I am proud of these Vols....Chism, Maze, and Prince....best of wishes to you, and thank you for wearing the Orange, you truly gave your all for the Tennessee Vols and played your best Bball down the stretch

As long as we don't lose anyone else to injury or stupidity, we'll return to the Elite 8 with more talented depth, Pearl has brought in solid talent to UT every recruiting cycle, but we lost 4 or so quality players....If the attrition stops we'll have longer, taller more athletic big men, like E Negedu could have been or Duke Crews would have been...I feel like the future is bright, just tough to see these seniors go...hopefully we can build on this recent success in recruiting

Anyone who is completely sold on Dooley is crazy as are all of you who are trashing him before he has even coached a game at UT.
