Agreed. It all depends on matchups for Melvin. When he's guarding a white boy and driving on a white boy, he looks great. When he is matched up with smaller, faster PGs he looks atrocious.

Yeah, remember all those "white boys" playing for Pitt and Nova.

UT held SEC leading scorer Jenkins to just 2 points in the 2nd half. Outstanding defensive effort.

Game ball to Little Pearl and Mel Goins. Have Bruce rip it in half.... Great win!!! What has happened to Tatum? He absolutly needs to step up for us to have any chance at a deep tourney run. Im glad mcbee watched from the sideline too (didnt miss him 2nite) Props to 32 for playing with fire for more than a game and hats off to a NICE VANDY SWEEP!!!!! GO VOLS!

Disagree, wholeheartedly. The foul on Pearl was, especially, BS. At the end, they just fouled us more, and it was appropriately called. We won despite the officiating.

Aside from the phantom Pearl foul, I really can't think of any other calls that should've went our way. Like I said, they were letting them play tonight and in that regard I thought they were calling it pretty consistently.

Yeah, the media is just going to give UT a pass tomorrow. I'm sure they'll be showing UT-Vandy highlights instead of talking about the violations. It'll be a big love fest.

Who cares what the media think? Unless your little blog makes you think you're a part of the misinformation.

Stallings' face at the end was priceless. I'll have to hand it to him though, he is a good looking man.

That was finally the team I remembered. I sincerely hope that the last minutes of that game were no fluke. That was a great win and it couldn't have come against a better team, in a better place, for the Vols to silence a lot of critics. There may be hope yet. I fully agree that tonight makes UT a tournament lock. I had previously stated that I'd given up on expecting anything from this team because I thought they had just quit on the season, but tonight says otherwise.

Oh, look. You're back into Pearl fluffer mode. How cute. Enjoy it while you can. Ask Beau Archibald what an unethical conduct finding will do for one's career.

Your Eyeore nonsense will take nothing away from the win tonight. Your OP was well done. Why negate it with your personal hatchet? Have fun, bro. We're not that different, you and I.

Agreed. There was a play in the first half where we drove to the rim and put it off the glass and Ezeli "blocked" it by either putting his hand through the goal or knocking it back off the board, which either way is goaltending as it had already hit the backboard. And that call on Pearl was just awful.

Oh, and disagree/agree with Fields being taken out of the rotation tonight? I liked it, good shakeup.
