anyone using a tilt shift? I think it's cheesy for people but some of my friends who are big time architectural photogs use them all the time. Regardless, one way that you can use it is to make things look miniature. This is really cool.

Right now we're using canon 5DmkII's. I've been shooting some medium format film but it's buried several posts back on the blog.

I'd love to have a 5D2. And to think I thought I was any good when I started this thread... ha.

what's the least I could spend to get an SLR? I'm a beginner, but I would like a camera that I could grow into..

Probably around $400. Check around though. Walmart often has package deals where you can get more for less.

Also if you're a beginner I've heard Nikon's have tutorials built into the camera so you can learn as you go.
