Nex wasn’t safe in the girl’s bathroom - “any other bathroom would have been safer”.

Nex was forced into that bathroom - due to their biological genitalia.

Disagree any other bathroom situation would have been safer. I don't think that claim could be made with objectivity. We can make the statement that certain bathroom situations with a very specific set of parameters would be safer. Maybe I missed it but I don't recall him or anyone claiming next was forced into a particular bathroom. Again, I did not read the article so I don't know if that was already addressed.

His entire “point” about the safety of kids being the reason for the bathroom debate.

You people don’t want to let boys use the girl’s bathroom, because you claim to care about keeping girls safe (from boys in the girl’s bathroom).

Here’s a non-binary that wasn’t safe in the girl’s bathroom. Any other bathroom would have been safer - like the boy’s bathroom. But you people wouldn’t let them use it.

Even if Nex took a bunch of pills to end their life, it's still a tragedy on that level.

Same here, I tend not to listen to what other children report, the family will usually embellish as well.

The fact the ME found no injuries consistent with blunt force trauma to believe it caused death under the circumstances certainly lends credence to suicide...... But ME's have been wrong before. Will wait for the ME's toxicology report but it sounds like he/she has reason to believe it was toxicological.

Follow millions of years of evolutionary biology? Nature seems to have figured it out for mammals.

There are what, some amphibians and plants (gingko trees for example) that can change sex? Other than the claim of some humans, I've no knowledge of any mammals and especially primates with the ability to "change" their gender.

Just picking @McDad on the general idea of some of this, not you.

I don't know enough about mammalian sexuality and gender to affirm or refute your idea. But, we are also the only mammals that have advanced language, can create experiences twith art, have awareness there are things we don't know, learn what other people have learned through written word, created machines, etc.
I think your point is that from a basic biological perspective what we see in human gender dysphoria is unique. I agree. But we're also unique in a multitude of other ways as well.
