Leave it to Aes Rock to flawlessly flow over an acoustic.

I don't expect u to like it. There (They're) not amazing lyrically (good) like all the people everyone post on here. I'm just sick of the same crap (stuff that is good) being posted on this thread.

Is that the overall gist of your post? I'm not even trying to troll or anything. Its just seems like you are acknowledging that the G Unit stuff isn't good, but you just wanted to post something that wasn't along the lines of what other people were posting. Like stuff that might actually be amazing lyrically.

No I want to post good music I don't care if ur wu tang good or dmx good lyrically. There is other good music out there besides these old school lyricist everyone keeps posting.

Also real quick is one of the better songs I have listened to this month.

If you enjoy it when you listen to it then that's all that matters.

Personally, I could only make it about half way through the song and, in those 2+ minutes, I think I heard Drake say the exact same thing roughly 3,000 times and the rest of lyrics basically sound exactly like something these guys would have written a decade ago, and they weren't exactly real wordsmiths the first time around.

"DMX good?"

smh

The Largest Vocabulary in Hip hop

The guy you just said is "lyrically good" is literally dead last on that list. Dead. Last.

When I moved to Atlanta, I figured I would get to exposed to some better hip-hop. Boy was I wrong, the stations down here are worse than Knoxville.

We need to have a cRap thread and a Hip Hop thread instead of mixing the **** with the ice cream.

I was thinking the same thing. Drizzy, Weezy, Chief Keef and the rest can have their thread, while the real hip hop can be in another thread. This is getting ridiculous.

"It's Dark And Hell Is Hot" is a GREAT album.

Looking back on it, that album doesn't hold up quite as well as I thought it would (still great though) but at the time it came out it seemed revolutionary. Granted, I was probably 16 when it came out and hadn't found a lot of what I would go on to consider good hip hop music but, in the era of Bad Boy and Cash Money, I still remember seeing the video for Get at me Dog for the first time and trying to figure out what the hell I'd just seen.
