The Red Line: Part Deux

United Nations inspectors heading toward the site of a claimed chemical attack in Syria came under fire “multiple times by unidentified snipers” as they sought to cross into rebel-held territory on Monday, the United Nations said, and the first car in their convoy was hit.

There were rumors leading up to the Iraq war that Saddam Hussein had sent his WMD's to Syria. With Syria now allegedly has used chemical weapons on its people. Could these weapons being used be part of the Saddam WMD's ? Just a thought. Maybe W was right after all.

I remember that being big talk as well. There were large convoys headed to Syria with suspected chemical weapons with them. Where did Syria get these? We're they known for having their own? Hmm.

It was reported that the USA supplied Saddam with chemical weapons during the Iran-Iraq war... You know "the enemy of our enemy" deal.

The weapons Saddam used against his people was reported to be weapons that we supplied him...

Even more proof GW was right, we gave them to him so we knew he had them.

“I do agree with Senator Corker that I think Congress needs to be involved, but perhaps not initially,” said Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., adding, “Perhaps the president could start and then Congress needs to resolve it an–and assent to it.”

"What we saw in Syria last week should shock the conscience of the world," said Kerry. "It defies any code of morality. Let me be clear: The indiscriminate slaughter of civilians, the killing of women and children and innocent bystanders by chemical weapons is a moral obscenity. By any standard, it is inexcusable. And despite the excuses and equivocations that some have manufactured, it is undeniable."

glad he let his boss off the hook by including the chemical weapons qualifier

60% of Americans don't want intervention in Syria yet Washington is marching us to that path, brilliant.
