The Reds Thread Part 2: Rally time

I would hope this series has shown the front office where this team is now. There's no reason Hernandez isn't switching clubhouses for the game tomorrow night and Jocketty should be on the phone with everyone pursuing Heath Bell to tell them Cordero is available.

Yep. Not going to get much out of him, but at least it will be something.

And he will be off the team.

Surkamp would be a great get.

I just looked at his numbers for the year, very very good. He has improved almost every category from high A ball. The one's that have slipped are the things you would expect to slip a little for a finesse guy who is starting to pitch to the real deal prospects

Hey, guess who is leaving a pitcher out there entirely too long again?

If you guessed Dusty Baker, you would be correct.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but how can anyone in a position of power within the organization not see that Dusty Baker is the biggest problem?

Announcement coming tomorrow. Baker out, Morgan likely in until the end of the season.

Uh oh....

edit for clarification on source: Apparently this guy let it be known that Cozart was getting the call a day or two before it happened.

I'm all for it. First, it gets rid of Baker. Further, it would make Joe Morgan finally put up or shut up. He's acted for years like he'd be the greatest manager ever. Here's his chance.
