Two years ago we were in the elite eight and now we are trying to stop MTSU fans from painting the rock after they beat us in the NIT. Pathetic.

One year ago we were getting beat down by 30 against #9 seed Michigan.

ATLEAST IT WAS IN THE BIG TOURNEY. That's my point. Last night was embarrassing. We blew a lead against an inferior instate school, in a second rate tourney. I would take a 30 point NCAA tourney loss over that crap anyday. But, if people wanna justify losing to MTSU go ahead.

They were in the early 2000's, prob still are. I learned that in highschool.. Blew my mind. My cuz played baseball there, so I'd visit him a lot.. It's a totally different campus, but it didn't seem bigger than UT.

Well, Atleast as many people didn't see it.. I'd say a lot more recruits and such witnessed the beating we took in the ncaa's last year.

It's actually pretty sad and pathetic that they did this. Shows how insignificant they are. Painted the rock for an NIT win? Really? Lol

Now,they 100% have the right to celebrate back in Murfreesboro...but not on our Rock.

Not a big fan of this comment. Graduated from MTSU and though MTSU may be the step child of UT it is an awesome campus and their undergrad class is bigger than UT. Just sayin...

I'd still rather go to the University of Tennessee than Middle Tennessee State University. At least people have heard of UT. It was my backup school for a reason. I'm not saying the people that go there/went there are wrong, but personally I love UT. I cannot see myself attending any other university.

Doesn't MTSU have one of the highest rates of stabbings/shootings/robberies in the state? For awhile, it seemed that MTSU was in the news for another crime every week or so.
