Why should the right apologize for nominating a guy who won and is single-handedly destroying the Democratic party? Lol. I hope in 5 more years we nominate another one.

You fail to see that if the left had offered a better candidate, Trump probably wouldn't have been elected. And neither side takes responsibility for their candidates. Instead they make excuses or downplay poor behavior. You bitch about people making excuses for Trump, while you continuously make excuses for Hillary. Luther, you're exactly what you claim to despise. That's what is so "telling". You practice the same behavior you condemn. And then you act like it's reasonable. That's called hypocrisy.

When did I blame the right for making the left nominate Hillary? Hint: Never. That's 100% on the left.
That nonsense of trying to pass on responsibility is what I despise. So at least in that regard, I am not what I claim to despise nor do I practice the same behavior I condemn.

Both sides made poor choices, luther. At least IMO. People had to choose which choice they could deal with. The country chose Trump. And you lost your mind.

Had Hillary been elected, the left would have never attempted to blame her election on the right.
That's the point we are debating.
The country made a horrible choice in nominating and elected Trump. A once in 300 year catastrophic anomaly.
At least they can quit deflecting blame and just own it.

Would the right have been justified in looking for any and every way to impeach her? The opinion you have of Trump, many have the same or worse opinion of Hillary. Would that have justified the same nuclear response the left has had to Trump? Be honest. If Hillary had won, and the right had the same reaction the left had to Trump, would you be okay with that behavior? You justify your behavior because Trump. So would the right have been justified because Hillary?

We both know if Hillary had won, you and many of the other leftist posters would be on here every day defending her shady character, and her every word. Hell, she lost, and you still defend her shady character as "right-wing propaganda". That being the case, why isn't all you spew labeled as "left-wing propaganda"? You use two different measuring sticks, luther. You have one for the left, and one for the right. You hold the right to much stricter standards than the left. It makes no sense to me, because I come from the school of holding yourself to higher standards than you hold others. Yet you seem to hold others to higher standards than you do yourself. You're not going to win much support like that.

I have repeatedly said that had Hillary won, the right's reaction to her would have been far more drastic than the left's reaction to Trump. They were planning impeachment prior to the election. I fully expected the right to treat Hillary far worse than the left has treated Trump. A large portion of the right has a viscous hatred of Hillary.
I have also stated, that if anyone ever believes about a candidate as I believe about Trump, they have an obligation to do all within their power to see the person removed from office.
I have never felt that way about any candidate other than Trump and guess that I never will again.
No matter who is elected president, there will be a segment of people that so "despise" the person that they will look for any and every way to obstruct and remove.
That has always been and will always be the case.
The difference (and the only one that truly matters) is if that segment represents 2%, 12%, 30%, 45%, or 60% of the population.
I said from day one it was all about critical mass. Trump understood that also. By keeping the 36 percenters in lock step, Trump has been able to keep the anti-Trump sentiment just a hair short of critical mass.

They wouldn't have tied to impeach Hillary. They would have used the hatred for her to increase their majorities in the house and senate. Impeaching her would have been as stupid as impeaching Trump.

Sure they would have, but obviously we will never settle that debate.
What we do know is that they had congressmen discussing it prior to the election.
What we do know is that the right had a greater irrational hatred of Hillary than the left does of Trump.

I'm sure it was discussed prior to election but it would have never happened. 4 years of Hillary would have ensured a large majority in both chambers of congress, it's one reason there were so many establishment Rs upset that Trump won.
