Here is option 2 THE ONE YOU CHOSE...
Option 2) Eliminate Yemi's minutes and insert Stokes into the rotation.
Results: In the short term I think the team will digress slightly mainly due to chemistry issues. I feel that the team will be resentful of Stokes in some small degree but after a short period of time the results will begin to turn in a positive fashion.
...
So get stokes 5-8 minutes a game and this will hurt the team. Well you clearly were wrong on that one after THE FIRST HALF. And yet you refer to me not knowin basketball, and retracting my statements.
Are you really to ignorant to understand what the short term is?
It must be nice to argue both sides of the same argument. One way with Bass and another with me.

That's because we only have one pg. Washpun would have been ate up by KY press today. I doubt we see much of him the rest of the year.
Don't want to pick on him because he has had some struggles with basic dribbling, handling the press and then you add his 20 % fg percentage to the equation and that's why we aren't seeing Washpun. I like Richardson and McStash as a better option. He does play good defense so depending on the situation he might could come in and help as a stopper. Richardson looked really comfortable at the point - McRae was struggling with his ball handling I thought.

And you didn't say this is short term you said in short term the team will digress, implying that after that short term with this option they will then begin to improve. Therefore this is not a short term option the way you have worded it maybe you should learn how to type what you mean, or admit you were wrong.
Sorry I disappeared. I went to church to hopefully learn how to show patience to those with less intellect.
Below is a post I made before the KY that clearly states I was speaking of the short term with the options and never endorsed sitting Stokes more than the Miss state game.
I agree. The more I think about it here's what I think will happen.
1game of option 1 (miss state)
Followed by 6 games of option 2
Then Option 3 for the remainder of the year

How am I arguing both sides?

You still have yet to touch back up on our new star back up pg role?
I was saying Kwanzaa should play stokes when they start *****ing sit them down
Cal style n just tell them
To put up or stfu.
Trust me, I know stokes didn't play/doesn't play for us. If we had been the one in a situation like that. All hell woulda broke loose whining n crying n ****.
Hers your quote arguing with Bass last night. Then today you argue with me saying virtually the same thing.
yea maybe he just wasnt 100% that he was physically ready. ccm had stated he wasnt going to play against uk initially, and even said after the game today he had eyed a date of after uconn but that he felt jarnell had proven enough and shown he was physically ready. you werent there you dont know what went on, they may have had a damn written test on play calls he was required to pass first before he could play, or a physical test he had to pass first. im not saying this is what it was but there is a reason ccm did what he did and i have no problem with it

And by the way your option 3 states the team will take a major step backwards for an extended period and after a long time begin to flourish..
Yes they took a huge step back yesterday.
I said I though there would be chemistry issue. I stand by that if we don't find a way to win at least one game this week.
Here's yet another post that is another case of you arguing both sides of the fence.
Another thing is how does it look to the rest of the team when ccm preaches hard work in practice will get you pt and then you let a kid come in with less than a week of practice and take minutes away.

and you continue to dodge the question about our new back up pg tatum...
Arguing with ignorance and a person that sits on both sides of the fence is useless.
You proved your ignorance by saying Maymon has more of a chance to play the PT guard position than CT when in fact that has already been disproved.
And I have given you post from your contradicting self that proves you argue just to argue no matter what side of the fence you must align yourself.

ok:
1. who is in the back court when the opposing team presses to break the press? jeronne maymon, coach martin has said with his own damn mouth that maymon is our 2nd BEST BALL HANDLER ON THE TEAM. that is out of the head coaches mouth, not cam tatum. im not saying seriously that maymon is going to play point is what making a point that someone can bring the ball up without being a pg, you obviously are just new to basketball. tatum is not playing pg and did not for more than a play or 2 out of desperation yesterday most of the time tatum handed it off to mcbee who ASSUMED the pg position and set up the offense.
2. PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CONTRADICTED MYSELF I HAVE ASKED YOU TO MULTIPLE TIMES. all i was saying to bass was that i was ok with stokes NOT playing against ONLY MSU, i didnt state he should sit on the bench for 1/2 the year as you threw out there as an option. I have NEVER said that stokes should not have played against uk, and looking at the rest of the year should not be receiving major minutes. I have been arguing the same point, the discussion with bass wasnt about THE FUTURE AS IT IS WITH YOU, it was ONLY about the msu game and whether it was the right choice to play stokes or not.
2 main contradictions. You have argued with me about saying presenting option1 in which I clearly stated that it should only be for the Miss state game. The same as you said. You can't argue that point in one thread and then have it the other way in this one.
The other contradiction is with chemistry. You bring it up in one thread but claim I am wrong for having that opinion in this thread.
Tatum played PT yesterday and it is entirely possible he plays it some the rest of the year. END of that story.

how old are you because your level of reading comprehension is seriously too small to be on this board.
1.what i was arguing with bass was very simple try to keep up with me here. we were discussing ONE game the msu game i was stating for multiple reasons that i was perfectly fine with coach martin deciding not to play stokes for that ONE game. YOU on the other hand were presenting an option that stokes be benched for the entire year. the fact that you presented this as an actual option was what i was arguing about, you later retracted your statement when you realized how dumb of an option it really was. that is the difference though im not contradicting anything i said to bass I WAS OK WITH STOKES NOT PLAYING AGAINST MSU, I AM SAYING TO YOU HE SHOULD BE RECEIVING MAJOR MINUTES HERE ON OUT. that is not a contradicting statment in the least bit i dont know what you are reading.
2. as far as this chemistry thing you are taking it entirely way too far. this could has now practiced 4 or 5 times and has had a chance to show the other players he is competing with that hes better than them and is going to get their minutes. this could has a work ethic that is 100x better than anybody else on this team and if anybody is mad about losing time they can look in the mirror and see why they were out worked. i dont think that will happen though did you see his teamates they love the kid and realize that a. he is going to make them better as players and b. is going to make them better as a team. whether he plays 5 minutes or 100 there will not be chemistry issues with this team, we dont have scotty hopson's on this team.
3. as far as this tatum thing is concerned i have given you so many opportunities to PLEASE bet me anything on this and you wont because you realize that you are wrong. listen to coach martins presser, he talked about richardson being in foul trouble and golden getting a breather and so they were really forced to scramble and find someone to bring the ball up. McRae did it, tatum did it and mcbee did it, even maymon did it and as i stated according to coach martin maymon is our second best ball handler. so heres how it goes golden is our pg when he needs a breather richardson is the backup pg, if he is in foul trouble well then it is going to just depend on who is in the game, ideally you get golden back in. if say golden and richardson were to both get kicked off the team let me ask you this WHO WOULD BE OUR STARTING PG? if you say tatum you make my point...
Last post arguing with ignorance and a person on both sides of the fence.
1) I stated option 1 was for the miss state game only same as you but you keep suggesting I said it was for all year. Your arguing for the sake of arguing. We have the same stance.
2) You expressed a worry about chemistry in the post I pasted above from you. Once again there is proof you argued the same point as myself but for the sake of arguing you are changing your stance.
3) I said the bet is a 50/50 bet. You said it will NEVER happen. One of us has looked at what in fact happened yesterday and one of us hasn't.

you once again fail to answer my question of how old are you?
1. here is your post:
First of all I want to say this is a great dilemma to have but I do think it's one that CM will be challenged by.
I am going to list three options that CM has in dealing with Stokes. I am also going to list my opinion of the results of all three.
Option 1) Continue to play the rotation we have settled on with Stokes only playing if serious foul trouble occurs or games are out of hand.
Result: The team will continue to progress and in the short term this option will produce the best results for this team. The team chemistry will continue on its current path which from everything I can see is very good...............nowhere in there do you say that this option is for 1 game. later in the thread yes you do retract your statement when everybody else has stated that option 1 is not even an option so yes you CHANGED your stance and said 1 game of option 1. then you state 6 games of option 2 which has also already been proven WRONG!
2. how about this if you can pull a post out of that thread that has the word CHEMISTRY in it then i will say im wrong and your right, but you wont because i didnt say that and your putting words in my mouth. all i said was how will it look for a guy who hasnt proved himself in practice to come in and start playing right away when a coach preaches on practice. what i didnt realize and i also stated later in the thread if you would READ is that jarnell had had 4 practices and that that was plenty of time for him to prove that he is better and deserves the playing time. also, the fact that he has worked harder than anybody else on this team since he got here probably went a long ways to earning him playing time as well.
3. ok by saying 50/50 you are suggesting that he has a 50% chance of playing pg. cameron tatum has played at the most 5 minutes of pg all season and that is probably more than he actually has as i stated yesterday it was mcbee playing point not tatum WHAT PART OF THAT DONT YOU GET. JUST BECAUSE TATUM DRIBBLED UP THE COURT DOESNT MAKE HIM POINT, SKYLAR WAS SETTING UP THE OFFENSE., there was maybe 2 or 3 plays in which cameron set up the offense as the pg. anyways though ok so tatum has a 50% chance of playing pg, tatum has played 486 minutes this year, 5 of which we will say at pg, that 1% if you feel good on a 1% chance then you are dumber than i thought.
