Since it seems everyone quit running, here is a motivational article written about a friend of mine.

Nice
I have no excuse, but I moved across country for the second time in less than 1 1/2 years and had a 1.5 - 2.5 hour commute each way for the last 5 1/2 months. I just moved on Monday and now have a 10 minute commute. Plenty of time to run. I plan on sticking with it again, now that I have a life back. Plus, I've put on some weight. Plus, I have zero weather excuses where I live
If I finish my March Marathon in 3:45 or shorter, I'm going to start training for a traditional triathlon. The plan is to work up to doing a half tri (2.5 mile swim, 55 mile bike and 13.1 run) but I fear if I somehow get myself in shape to do that, I'll want to finish a full one, even if it takes all day.
Anyone get running goodies for Christmas?
I got the new Brooks PureCadence 4s, a Brooks Running Jacket, Brook technical long sleeved running shirt and I should be getting a running beanie later
I'm going to buy myself the Adrenaline GTS 15 soon. My 14s are shot, and after loving by Hokas at first, I've grown to dislike what they do to my foot strike.
How's the running jacket? I've been looking for one of those as well.
I think I like it. It's 55 degrees right now though, so I'm about to go on a run, but there's clearly no need for it right now haha.
Living on Chic's Beach, the coastal winds give a real feel difference of about 10 degrees and it's been COLD lately. It fits to size, is rather form fitting but, not restrictive and is very bright orange. Not just for Tennessee, but bright because the neighborhood streets aren't very well lit around my place.
I need some trail shoes now and I'll be set for running.

Anyone ever do a triathlon? I've discovered some races replace the swimming part with kayaking, which is interesting.
I can't swim, like at all, but I can float with life vest. Some practice with a kayak and instruction on how not to die when you flip and I'd be interesting in hitting one with a short, calm distance to kayak.
Of course, I'm to competitive and will probably get in over my head and drown, but hey. At least my friends will have a good story.

I've done those kayak triathlons the last two years. I just do the mountain bike portion of a coed team event, though. They're a lot of fun and more laid back than a normal tri.
