the sec misses cbp

Then it's an issue with every program. Every team can be better.

Hypothetically, yes.

But wouldn't you have liked to be a top 10 program instead of a top 25 program? Because player development was a big part of that. You can tell with it this year.

Please. The roster that we currently have(minus Stokes) would be the same whether or not Pearl was here. I'd love to see him choke against Oakland with his so called "loaded roster" he was going to have with Kevin Ware, and see the reaction from his lovers.

1981. Throw out numbers all you want. I appreciate his run here but he screwed himself over and put a negative light on the program at the end of his tenure here. The roster UT currently has is not Cuonzo's fault, it is his predecessor's. Many people here can't fathom that because Bruce Pearl is a god in their eyes.

I think I agree with someone that said this thread should be deleted. Obviously there are a lot of people that still like Pearl because he was a very engaging person, filled up TBA (will be hard to do again) and brought a **** program into 6 straight tourney appearances. I really enjoyed it regardless of how it ended. Questioning his X and Os is just nuts as well as player development because he pulled some crazy wins against top 10 teams with great game planning and schemes. He also got a lot out some players like Dane Bradshaw, and Chism did improve to a really good player.
As Cuonzo said himself we have a talented roster just inexperienced, so who know or really cares whether Cuonzo will be better than Pearl. Lets just hope our program stays competitive and maybe Cuonzo can take us to some tournaments as well. Only complaint I have so far is I get bored watching his interviews and reliance on man defense, but won't matter if he wins!

I hated the way things ended up here with BP, but I got to say, I really had fun and enjoyed the BP era here. BP brought life and excitement in a dormant BB program that was about as exciting as a cold bowl of oatmeal prior to his arrival.

This proves your point so well.
