I really wanna know what was Pearl's beef with McBee, but I guess we're not gonna find out unless someone who was nearby and could have overheard would say...

Seems to me like I saw him yelling at McBee earlier in the half because of a bad defensive play, and I never saw McBee take the court after the technical. Maybe he had an attitude problem?

I noticed that it was immediately after they nailed a three. It must have been his responsibility to rotate? Just guessing, i am by no means an expert in bb.

Pay no attention to lawvol. He thinks that this is a courtroom and he is practicing all of the big words and legal terminology taught at Mempuss. He is by far the worst poster on VN!

1. Excellent all-around scoring output tonight.

2. Good Defense, need better rebounding though.

3. Steven has proven me wrong.

4. Pelphrey sucks.

5. Maze/Goins have become a very good PG combo.

6. If Scotty/Cam are going to give you a near 30 combined, you have an excellent shot to win.

7. Wayne played well. He dominated the boards late. That is what senior leaders do.

8. JP's D has become very good this year...I don't mind him cherry-picking on a loose ball, but please not on defensive rebounds.

9. Scotty is putting up 16.6 pts. the last three games since being benched. That is exactly what we need from him.

10. We do not need a let down against Miss State. We need a victory and go into the SEC Tourney with lots of momentum.

Agree with most everything except that the D simply was not up to par tonight. Yes, they got the job done, but lacked intensity for the majority of the night.

Nice rundown. Good point about the rebounding. I think alot of that was due to Chism being in foul trouble and Hall being forced to play quite a few minutes. He seems to be lost and out of position most of the time.

I would have loved to been close enough to hear what Pearl said to McBee after he got fired up. My guess was that it had nothing to do with McBee, but he just needed to get the rest of what he had built up out without annoying the refs too much.

I think you are right. Unfortunately I was not at the game. But the announcers were laughing at Pearl appearing to let McBee have it after Pearl got the technical. Said that McBee was probably just the first one Pearl saw and was taking it out on him. Could have been anyone....just McBee was the first one he saw.

It's a freshman thing. A lot of freshman are so use to just using their height/strength/athleticism to rebound they aren't use to having to fight/box out for boards. It's something I'm not worried about in the future.

I would usually leave this alone but it makes you sound unintelligent when you say someone is using "big words."

I'm not either. I think Hall's a good prospect, but he's just not ready for significant minutes right now.

The commentators said that Mcbee was laughing afterward. So maybe it was just a joke by Pearl.
