I don’t have a problem. You seem to have the problem. We're on a website where we argue over our opinions and you have a problem with that? Sorry not sorry.
I am glad you passed down your family tradition where grown men hit children. My kid is 20, well mannered and is in college. Didn't have to beat her to get there.
It depends upon the child.. mine got spanked once or twice their entire lives and that was when they were around two and it was a safety issue ie running into the road/ trying to dive head first out of a grocery cart lol.. you cannot reason with little kids lol.. that part of their brain has not developed yet..lol.. I was lucky, mine behaved, and just required the time outs, go to your room, pick up your room as they became older… but some people’s kids are baaaaadIt's troubling that you cannot figure out how to discipline a child without hitting them.

You think using a switch or a belt is hitting. I think that makes you look ignorant. You are a special kind of idiot if you don’t know the difference.
Since we are discussing kids. My daughter has a 4.7 gpa. 30 ACT and will be going to college this fall which most of it paid for. I actually can’t believe she accomplished this with the few spankings she received years ago.
It's troubling you can't see the difference between a spanking and abuse. You never spanked your child. Good for you. Different kids respond to different stimuli. Every spanking I got, I earned. And I know plenty of well-adjusted people that grew up in households where spankings were used as punishment. It's troubling that you cannot figure out how to discipline a child without hitting them.
My stepfather made us select the switch and then he would use it until he drew blood. Also beat my ass with with a 2x2 once. Good times.

Nowadays, they're more for fun.
That's actually an interesting article, it makes one wonder if the crime in those jobs are up because lawmakers are not prosecuting those criminals as much or if it's the explosion of that profession....sad either way that those companies won't let their drivers protect themselves properly. As I said, it isn't just USPS workers, it is DELIVERY personnel in general. Nor is it a single incident.
I question if you really want to know the answer to your question, or just to lure a response, so you can denigrate it.
I see a lot of that behavior here, so much so, I'm poisoned with doubt about a questioners' sincerity.
Delivery drivers have one of the most dangerous jobs in the country. It's gotten worse.
