The Taxslayer Gator Bowl: #22 Clemson (8-4) vs Kentucky (7-5) (ESPN, 12PM ET)

Practice squad contracts are weird. I know the league minimum is over 250k, but I’m not sure how long across the year they have to actually be on the squad across the year to earn all of that.
FWIW

If a player has accrued at least two seasons, their minimum salary is $16,100 per week and maximum salary is $20,600 per week. If a player with fewer than two seasons is on the practice squad for all 18 weeks, they would earn $216,000. That's approximately 29% of the NFL league minimum salary for rookies, $750,000.Sep 7, 2023

Why would any elite player ever go to Kentucky? It’s amazing that they sign any 4 star recruits.

Normally I wouldn't mind this... but i'm getting tired of seeing the SEC with no bowl wins this year.
Honestly, they could lose every game save for the last 2 and everyone would all start to claim we’re the best conference because Alabama won another national championship….
