I wonder how many military members follow Roseanne on social media or were fans of her show before it was canceled recently.
I would like to hear them talk about they can support her yet have outrage for Kaepernick and the protesters.
Neither of us is saying the military is not part of the flag. As has been said dozens of times, the military isn't the ONLY thing represented by the flag.Ras & Nash - Why do people think the flag has anything to do with the military?
Again, most of us are saying "the military isn't the ONLY thing represented by the flag".Me - How can people think the flag has nothing to do with the military?
I have a slight problem with that story, if true. Where are the soldiers here at home that are defending our Constitution?
Do you understand what I'm getting at? We have all of this misdirected outrage, yet the things that really matter get ignored.
Pissed a lot of people off. Not sure why since it only represents police brutality.

When Kaepernick and the other idiots apologize for misguided and ignorant protests you’ll see better attitudes towards them too.
I still want to know when he was going to STOP kneeling. You can believe whatever you want. But its nothing more than entitled athletes doing things on a national stage for attention. Of course police brutality exists. Do you think it just started happening? No. Its been happening for a long time. But because a former starting QB lost his job, well NOW its an issue. Lol. I realize this attention getting scheme is happening. They certainly have the right to do it. Just as I have the right to call it whatever I please. Pull up your panties.
So I’ve basically come up with I’m just going to ignore it all if I continue to watch the NFL.
If the network broadcasts the anthem I’m going to go get a beer. Change the channel. If I’m at a game this year I’ll make sure I’m out in the concourse or at concessions.
If they get a mic stuck in their face I’ll mute the channel. If the announcers bring it up I’ll mute them.
If that doesn’t work I’ll stop watching and stick with college.
Let em “protest”. I’ll just treat them the same as the guy on the street corner with the “Repent now the end is near!” sign. And I’ll give be them the same amount of consideration I give that guy. Zero.
Respond to protest with censure. Works for me. Let them talk in an echo chamber.
Why not stand respectfully? Is it not every bit as disrespectful to walk out during the anthem? I stand and remove my hat regardless of where I am.
I thought our responses didn’t matter? So I’m just going to remove myself from the situation.
If it doesn’t matter then it doesn’t matter and no need for me to participate or even acknowledge it right?
Nope they’re exercising their right correct? So let them. I just don’t have to participate on my part. Nor am I going to get goaded into doing so.Well, I thought you found the protest offensive. But you choose to walk out during the anthem? Those two seem incompatible with one another.
