The Thread Where People Argue About Kneeling in the NFL (merged)

The NFL responded to fan/public reactions by trying to squash all the kneeling. The NFL is a large organization and the kneelers are only a small sampling. You guys are so butthurt about the kneelers that news of the NFL bouncing back brings out your PTSD. Do you want bad karma on all of them forever? Why?

We know you don't watch the NFL, you ignorant slut (@SpaceCoastVol). You make a point of declaring this every chance you get, including twice today.

You make up for it with football player hero worship.

Ras....

I respect you as a solid poster. But the economy pop is ridiculous. Don’t go all LG or Luther on us brother.
Wait... is it just me or am I the only one seeing retail chains going belly up and car dealership parking lots filled to the rim and spilling over into mall parking lots... which are empty as well.

It was about police brutality...

If you ever watch live PD you'll understand the real problem is a lack of respect for cops, not police brutality. There are droves of arseholes are so rude to officers that are just doing their jobs. Also, it is easy to make a mistake when you only have a split second to decide whether or not someone is a threat to your life or just being a dumbarse.

And that gives them a license to kill?

It's called Amazon and Carvana.

If anything the economy is overheating which is why the prime rate was raised again over objections from Wall Street.

Must be since we just came off of a record $850B holiday spending season which completely blew everybody’s expectations.

One point on cars. Maybe the US mfgrs should build models their customers want to buy?

The parking lot at Cool Springs Mall is used as a spill over parking lot for Nissans and Infinitis...

Great. That mall doesn’t change my point. You are aware that GM and Ford have already dropped nearly all sedan models right? We love our gas guzzling SUVs

And Chrysler.

But that is trend towards SUVs and trucks. Even with all those models being dropped, toyoda and honda are selling less sedans too.

The big three still make the best trucks.

Too many penalties, excessive roughing the passer calls, kickoffs suck, announcers are getting worse, etc.

There is more roughing the passer, but there is no significant difference in number of penalties in modern football, and there are more plays per game.

In the 90's, guys like Aikman were throwing 25x. The new NFL necessitates stricter QB rules. Guys are dropping back 45x and are much more likely to get hurt.

Announcers and kickoffs? Lol. First of all, Romo rules, and second, nobody watches because of kickoff returns. There are hundreds and hundreds of kickoffs every years and you only ever got a handful of TD's. That hasn't changed.

I think the NFL has been very entertaining this season, IMO. There are a lot of teams that can win the SB.

IMO, the refs are ruining college football. They take the rhythm out of the game with their unnecessarily long reviews on plays that should be determined by the time the ref puts the headphones on. Plus, they just waste too much time...and that's why games take so long.
