If I'm a star player and an injury has kept me out of a big game, I'm gonna be pissed because of course I want to be out there. If she were being punished, she'd make a big deal of it IMO. I think she'd call out Trump even more if she got suspended over her previous comments. As much as I dislike any athlete representing the U.S. using their international stage to lambast our country, they're still allowed to do it under the First Amendment. Her looking pissed proves nothing.
And this relates to the Nike story how? I know very little about these "Proud Boys", but if they're a hate group that goes around beating on people(like Antifa), then I wouldn't want my product associated with them either. Has nothing to do with Nike spitting on the history of the U.S. Slavery was wrong, but it's only part of our history. I'm not going to forget the accomplishments of great Americans because they lived in an era where slavery existed. This idea that we should be ashamed of our history is ridiculous. It happened, and our nation grew from it.Wonder if Fred Perry likes what his brand is now associated with
The alt-right’s Proud Boys love Fred Perry polo shirts. The feeling is not mutual.

No. I also think that getting to see what our tax dollars are paying for to protect the rights we are celebrating on Independence day is not a waste of dollars. Now, if Obama had done it on his birthday - THAT would be a waste of our tax dollars. You think it’s Un-American to be bothered by wasteful government spending?
That's not too far fetched actually. What I was wondering is when these shoes were supposed to be released. Was it this week? IF that is the case, then I think you are spot on because they would have to have already been manufactured. If THAT was the case, then NIKE would be losing a bunch of money... well.. the wages/material/shipping costs that they paid out... and then eating that all because the world's biggest racist snowflake pointed out something 'potentially' offensive? Naaaaah. I'm not buying that one iota.Am I the only one who thinks this whole thing was orchestrated by Nike and Kapernik together?
