Democrats are freaking out over the first flag of the United States of America. How mentally sick do you have to be to have a problem with that.

The flag in question was made before the Declaration of Independence was even signed for a new country that would be fighting for eight more years for it's very existence.

You guys (on both sides) getting all worked up over a piece of cloth again?

When will you guys realize that they are trying to divide us on some of the most trivial of issues? Neither side looks very mature or rational in this entire drama.

This country has far bigger issues than a damned flag... but you people would rather focus on nonsense.

There is a reason the Betsy Ross flag flies at presidential inaugurations. It’s not because we are a racist society but because we are a land of values that gives people freedoms to rise out of oppression of government.

If you believe the Betsy Ross flag is racist you need to start reading history and lose your shortsightedness.

Is that supposed to be an insult? Hurt my feelings?

I wish some of you had more pride and reverence for your Constitution rather than a flag. Most of you are seeing our freedoms erode away on a daily basis and you don't put up anywhere near the same level of outrage for that.

If you disrespect the flag, a piece of cloth, I doubt you have much respect for a piece of paper.

Show me the servicemen right now that are fighting to keep our Constitution alive. Show me the politicians that swore an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution.

There are plenty of elected and appointed officials that don’t give a damn about the constitution. Instead they’re high ranking activists that do what they want.

We live in a world today where a man's word just doesn't mean what it used to mean. People today are quick to break oaths, quick to lie, and quick to make excuses. Personal responsibility is quickly becoming a thing of the past.
